Tournament Registration - Gaybowl

We look forward to everyone's participation in our competitive/tournament season starting this summer as we take our team and compete nationally. We had a blast at the Pride Bowl I tournament in Chicago on June 27^th-29^th, 2008 and now look forward to the annual Gaybowl competition over Columbus day weekend, this year held in Salt Lake City on October 10^th-12^th, 2008. The gaybowl is the biggest tournament of the year and is sure to be a lot of fun so mark you calendars as you are not going to want to miss this event!

For the Gaybowl tournament, the HELLRAISERS are already in contact with the Mountain West Flag Football league and tournament director. Flights to Salt Lake City are running around $300 with tax (as of July 14^th), and be prepared to pay around $200 for the hotel for the entire weekend. Of course, the team will be having fundraisers to help defray these costs. For example, last year each player only had to pay on average $40 for their hotel stay in NYC because we did so many fundraisers. Likewise, the average hotel cost in Chicago this past summer was $50 per person because of how successful our fundraising efforts were. The amount you pay for these events is entirely dependant on how much fundraising you participate in (not attend but work); this way you directly control the costs of the tournaments.

If you did not purchase a jersey for the Chicago tournament, you will need to also purchase one for the Gaybowl tournament as we have modified our colors and made other changes to our uniform. The uniforms are very high quality, made by our generous sponsor Artcraft Sport Apparel, costing $80 each. The uniform includes two custom shirts (maroon with yellow lettering and white with maroon lettering), shorts with our "PH" logo and matching socks that say "Hellraisers" on the side. Not only do we play competitively, but we also look sharp!

In order to get an accurate count of how many people will be attending the Gaybowl tournament and to order jerseys in advance, please consider the potential costs associated with the tournament and then register below on or before midnight Thursday, August 17^th, 2008.
